We are very sad to announce the demise of caricature artist, illustrator, art teacher and most of all a very good friend of us all, Akbar Zia, who passed away after a very brief illness on the night of 8^th May 2021. Akbar will always be remembered because of his wit and perpetual smiling face. May Allah make his journey smooth to his final abode.

He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.
